With so much technology vying for our attention these days it seems to be harder than ever to switch off - whether from the latest Netflix boxset or work emails - and get a good night’s sleep. These illustrations were created for an article on sleep hygiene - that is, putting down that glass of wine and Twitter, and having a hot bath or doing a bit of yoga instead - all the better for getting your recommended 8 hours. The main image shows all the ‘shoulds’ - yoga, herbal tea, dim lights, warm bath - but the two smaller ones show the ‘shouldn’ts’ - alcohol, caffeine, blue light.
